在講話或是寫作的時候，常常需要解釋原因

國中就學過 because 跟 so 這兩個字是連接詞，不能同時用在兩句話裡面

（兩個句子只能用一個連接詞）

今天來學除了 because 之外，還有哪些表達「因為」的連接詞

1. Because, Since, As, For 都可以用來表達原因

 例句：

I'm tired because I didn't sleep well.

I'm tired as I didn't sleep well.

I'm tired since I didn't sleep well.

I'm tired, for I didn't sleep well.

2. Because 重點放在「原因」

位置放前放後都沒關係，如果接在第二句句子中間需要加逗號

 例句：

You're reading this because you want to learn English.

They won't be here because they're on holiday.

Because you want to learn English, you're reading this.

Because they're on holiday, they won't be here.

3. Since, As 重點放在「結果」；語氣以「since」強於「as」

位置放前放後都沒關係，如果接在第二句句子中間需要加逗號

 例句：

I hope Tom's brought that comic as I wanted to borrow it from him.

Noodles are popular since they're easy to cook.

As I wanted to borrow that comic, I hope Tom's brought it with him.

Since they're easy to cook, noodles are popular.

3. , for 語氣最弱，接一個「推測或附加的原因」

位置只能接在第二句，並且句子中間需要加逗號

 例句：

You must love English, for you have watched this video. (推測原因)

I watched this video, for the exams are coming. (附加原因)

She remained silent, for her heart was heavy and her spirits low. (附加原因)
