Gossip Girl 花邊教主/緋聞女孩/八卦天后，這是我第三次看這個影集了
哈哈，雖然後面的劇情很芭樂，但我就是喜歡俊男美女的場面
還有看曼哈頓貴族們大手筆花錢的時刻！覺得很過癮
也很愛觀察主角們的穿著以及室內設計佈景，很權貴～
最近因為時間空出來比較多，就開始追影集
看影集一向是一個很好學習英文的方法～尤其是俚語～
想說每級都來打一些筆記，一方便自己練習二方面也順便教學

Gossip Girl 主要演員是以下
Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively飾演)
迷人又充滿氣場的 “It” Girl，總有用不完的魅力
故事也由她神秘消失後由寄宿學校回來做開端
Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester飾演)
詭計多端的 Queen B，很喜歡他的重義氣還有鬼點子
裡面我最喜歡他了，雖然常常出鬼主意但都不是太壞的事情
也可以看出他只是個缺少安全感需要愛的女孩
Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick飾演)
壞壞的花花公子，很有錢住在紐約帝國大廈
最愛他說 I’m Chuck Bass 那種理所當然又充滿自信的嘴臉
Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford飾演)
標準的高富帥代表，戲中也是致使如中的好好先生
不過就是有點缺乏個性，不過這也是好好代表的特色吧 (?)

Gossip Girl Season 1 Episode 1 - Pilot
1. effing = damn 非常，用來加強語氣(但粗魯類似 fucking)
英英：used to add force to an expression. Some people might consider this offensive
Chuck: Serena looked effing hot last night.
2. for good = forever 永遠 (發現 GG 出現很多次尤其是 B 很愛講) 
例句：I don’t wanna see you for good.
3. no offense 無意冒犯，通常是用在想講真話但又不想冒犯對方時用的 
Dan: Well, no offense if i sound surprised Since i've never been invited.
例句：No offense, but I really don’t like that waitress.
4. seal the deal 搞定，也可以用 close the deal
片中 C 是指 N「搞定」B 的意思 (也就是上床)
Chuck: You guys have been dating since kindergarten And you haven't sealed the deal.
例句：I can help you seal the deal only when it comes with a 7-figure offer.
5. tip-off 告密 (片中指的是透露某些意思的訊息)
因為 D 被認為是跟蹤狂，他說他的學校制服可以當作一些證明
英英：A piece of information given in a discreet or confidential way
Dan: Identical uniforms?Is that kind of a tip-Off? That's funny.
6. catfight (n.) 指女人間的戰爭
英英：A fight between women.
7. beV + in good shape (idiom) 狀態良好或是身體不錯的意思
8. eye lift 眼部拉皮 lift (n.) 就是提升、拉皮的意思
英式英語中的「電梯」；美式則是用「elevator表示電梯」

9. stud 種馬，戲中被延伸為花花公子的意思
10. sth is around the corner 事情近在眉梢
例句：Christmas is around the corner and children are all looking forward to it.
11. gear up 籌備，準備好自己
Eleanor waldorf is gearing up to take her company public.
例句：The young entrpreneur is gearing up for his start-up company.
12. fetish 不正常的迷戀侵向，尤其跟性有關 (a fetish for + n.)
accuse sb. of sth. 控告某人某事
Dan: They didn't accuse him of having a foot fetish. (戀足癖)
例句：Some may have fetishes, like dressing up in women’s clothes.
13. throw/ hold/ have/ arrange a party 辦趴
Lily: What do you mean? Blair's throwing it.
例句： They're throwing a party to introduce their nephew to the neighbors.
14. be V + bound to + VR 注定要做～
英英： certain or destined to do something
Rufus: Well,our kids were bound to meet.
例句： We are bound to tell the truth.
15. rehash (n.) (v.) （稍作修改）重新推出；以新形式表達舊內容；換湯不換藥
英英：something consisting of old, reworked, or reused material
Lily: no need to rehash details of decades past.
例句：His new novel is just a rehash of his previous ones.
16. score a date 贏得約會
Rufus: Dan scored a date with serena? Mm-Hmm.
例句：Show me how to score a date with the blonde?
17. settlement (n.) 離婚協定，和解金
Rufus: Well,not all of us have settlements From multiple divorces to sustain us.
例句：As part of their divorce settlement, Geoff agreed to let Polly keep the house.
18. newbie (n.) 新手新人
英英：An inexperienced newcomer to a particular activity.
補充：英文一個形容詞字尾加上 + ie 就會變成名詞表示那種類的人
例如 goodie 指得是好人；foodie 表示吃貨，尤其愛拍食物照片紀錄的人
19. dress up or dress down (v.) 盛裝打扮 / 隨意打扮
Dan: Maybe i should've worn my loafers then dressed down a little bit.
補充：國外通常一星期賄選一天是 dress down day 可能是週三或週五，能夠穿牛仔褲T-shirt 上班 (不過我之前在科技業好像根本沒差 XD)
20. ploy (n.) 花招，手段 + to infinitive 表示目的
英英：something that is done or said in order to get an advantage, often dishonestly.
Lily: Are you sure it's not some ploy, your using my daughter to get to me now that your wife left you?
例句：He only said he had a meeting as a ploy to get her to leave.
