borrow 跟 lend 這兩個字都是借，差別在於「借出」還是「借入」

當你今天要跟別人借東西，你要借進來

就是用 borrow sth from sb

動詞三態為規則 borrow- borrowed- borrowed

例句： May I borrow some money from you? 我可以跟你借一些錢嗎？

John borrowed a book from the library. John 從圖書館借了一本書。

May I borrow your coat? 我可以跟你借外套嗎？

這個字也可以用在跟銀行借錢的情況

Mark wants to borrow money from the bank. 馬克想跟銀行貸一些錢。

相反的，當今天你要借別人東西（借出）

就是用 lend sth to sb / lend sb sth

動詞三態為不規則 lend- lent- lent

例句： I don't want to lend you my money.

I don't want to lend my money to you.

也同樣可以用在銀行借你錢的情況

The bank refuses to lend to students. 銀行拒絕貸款給學生

The bank agreed to lend him $5,000. 銀行同意貸款5000塊給他 

下次如果要借給別人或是不想借給別人東西就是用  lend 

如果想跟別人借東西用  borrow
