在日常生活中，常常需要使用「據說」「聽說」這種可以撇關係的句子 

在英文裡面也有這種句型，加上去就可以撇清關係，反正不是自己說的

 據說 

It is said (that) S + V

= People say (that) S + V

= S beV said to VR 或 S beV said to have + p.p. (所講的是發生在過去)

例如：It is said that he gave her a slap on the cheek.

People say that he gave her a slap on the cheek.

也可以把 that 子句後面的主詞搬到前面，句型改成被動式變成

He is said to have given her a slap on the cheek.

 據信; 大眾普遍認為 

It is believed/thought/considered/known (that) S + V

例如：It is believed that exercising regularly is good for our health.

It is thought that health is more important than wealth.

It is considered that consuming too much sugary drink will lead to obesity.

 報導說 

It is reported (that) S + V

例如：It is reported that people will get used to one thing after doing so for 21 times.

 傳說; 謠言說 

It is rumored (that) S + V

= Rumor has it that + S + V

例如：It is rumored that he is gay.

Rumor has it that he is gay.

練習時間（答案反白看）

1. 據說小宇今年要在小巨蛋開演唱會

It is said that Xiao Yu will hold a concert in Taipei Arena this year.

2. 聽說蔡依林新專輯 Ugly Beauty 賣了一百萬張

It is said that Jolin's new album - Ugly Beauty has reached platinum.

3. 一般人相信努力就會有成功

It is believed that hard work can lead to success.

4. 傳言說聖誕老公公今年要退休了

It is rumored that Santa Claus is going to retire this year.

5. 聽說 2020 年台北房價可能會大跌

Rumor has it that the price of houses in Taipei will take a nosedive in 2020.

6. 據報導「東西賣得出去，高雄會發大財」

It is reported that if goods can be sold, Kaohsiung will be Prosperous.
